Camerons comes to visit

Fell off my bike

They say that no news is good news
I wrote my last blog in January and I am pleased that Cameron is making great progress.

He has put weight on steadily and is a sweet good natured baby. Always quick to tell Mum and Dad when its feeding time.

As he approaches his first Birthday he is starting to find his feet. He is always keen to hold your hand and pull himself to his feet and then takes large wobbly steps.

Christmas Memories

The Christmas & New Year holiday are now distant memories.

England has been in the freezer with arctic temperatures and a backdrop of wide spread snow.

Catriona and I had a fantastic Christmas Day spent with Claire and Glen.

Prior to the meal I visited Paul in hospital to give him his presents.

Claire did duty as chef and we tucked into a wonderful traditional dinner. Christmas present opening was postponed as we decided to save it until Boxing Day which was to be held. at Heath Park House with Jo, Sanjay and the boys joining us.

Early on Boxing Day Jo phoned to say they were not well and could not come. We were both so disappointed.

We duly set our large table and prepared for a non traditional meal of Beef Wellington and set about enjoying the day with the remainder of family and friends.

The day was made when we heard a surprise knock on the front door. The Patel family had arrived. Jo told her Mum that she didn't want to miss the day so even though they didn't feal great they had come to share the day.
It made our Christmas and we made up for lost time with cuddles for all, particularly Cameron and Arun.

I'm pleased to say that we are now in mid January and although we still struggle with icy weather and snow young Cameron is making steady progress.
He got a good report from the Doctor at his last hospital visit.
We are all looking forward to 2010
